About the role#
As a Systems Completion Engineering Intern, you will work with the Powerblock team to support geothermal energy development. You will manage a specific project scoped on your first day and own it for the duration of the 12-week program. At the end of the summer, you will present your findings to executive leadership and department leads.
What you'll do#
- Lead engagement with an expansion joint supplier.
- Help develop in-house or EPC specifications.
- Build a cost database and methodology for the relevant equipment category as your capstone project.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or a Senior bachelor student graduating within the next year.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
- You are eager to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.
- Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering degrees are preferred.
- You are comfortable working independently on a defined deliverable.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Houston, Texas.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
