About the role#
The Investment Compliance Monitoring Team supports the operations of Fidelity Compliance Programs. You will work with investment teams to ensure compliance with global regulations, investor requirements, and corporate policies. This position is a full-time co-op role that involves monitoring trade activities for equity, fixed income, and alternative funds.
What you'll do#
- Monitor daily trade activities to ensure adherence to investment policy limitations.
- Communicate regulatory, prospectus, Board, and internal policies to traders and portfolio managers.
- Educate investment professionals on fund guidelines and trading policies.
- Implement mechanisms for timely reporting.
- Monitor complex investment strategies.
- Provide management with information on current trends and recommend process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is preferred.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, compliance, or operations.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and resourcefulness.
- Ability to identify process improvements through technology solutions.
- Experience with pre-trade compliance or order-management technology is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a teammate.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work modality: Hybrid, with a blend of at-home and in-office work.
- Compensation: $20 - $32 per hour.
