About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship opportunity for individuals who have previously completed an internship at HNTB. You will join our Mid Atlantic Division to perform basic engineering tasks that align with your post-secondary curriculum.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design phases of infrastructure projects.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Organize information for use in project documentation.
- Perform basic engineering calculations.
- Accept and apply feedback from supervisors and peers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A basic understanding of geometric, algebraic, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize data for drawings and reports.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
