About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for Summer 2027. This position is open exclusively to individuals who have previously completed an internship with HNTB. You will join our engineering teams to work on infrastructure projects and gain practical experience in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents under the guidance of staff engineers.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support project goals.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program. We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of their degree.
- A basic understanding of geometric, algebraic, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documentation.
- A willingness to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
