About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or previous HNTB interns. It is a full-time, paid role starting in the Fall of 2026. You will work on-site at one of our Florida locations to support our engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned tasks within the provided schedule and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Help engineering teams organize and manage design files.
- Perform research, data collection, and field investigations as needed.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the project team.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- A solid understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD.

- This is an on-site position located in Jacksonville, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Ocoee, Orlando, or Ormond Beach, Florida.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
